Entries open for Men�s Senior Match Play

Entries are open for the Australian Men’s Senior Match Play Championship to be played on the River Course at Coolangatta-Tweed Heads Golf Club from 19-21 June.

The 32 leading players from the Australian Men’s Senior Rankings will qualify for the event, which consists of 3 days of grueling match play competition. With the championship having been played on the West Course for the previous three years, the River Course is sure to create a new challenge.

Coolangatta & Tweed Heads Golf Club is set on 101 hectares and is a dedicated wildlife reserve with an abundance of native flora and fauna. Many greats have played its courses, including Greg Norman (winner of the 1986 Qld Open), David Graham, Graham Marsh, Sam Snead, Gary Player, Arnold Palmer, Bernhard Langer, Bobby Locke, Payne Stewart, Tom Kite and the great Norman Von Nida.

Previous winners of the event such as Stefan Albinski, Denis Dale and 2016 champion Gordon Claney are sure to make the trip and renew rivalries and friendships.

Entries close on Tuesday 30 May.
