Golf NSW is seeking Expressions of Interest from all golf club members who may be interested in assisting with the operations of Golf NSW as we embark on significant change in the administration of the game. Committees will be more strategic planning focussed and are concerned with developing the game for a range of abilities and expertise. Interested persons would preferably have experience in golf, but the ability to think strategically is of more importance. Members of a Committee may also be involved in the running of tournaments or assisting with educational seminars etc but this is not an expectation. It is hoped to have representation from all areas of NSW on the Committee and we would welcome interest and input from country as well as metropolitan based golfers. Committees will address the following: – Golf NSW Events – High Performance – Rules and Amateur Status – Handicapping and Course Rating – Club Support – Game Development and Promotion – State Representative Teams / Selectors – Sponsorship – Communications and I.T. Meetings are held roughly 3 to 4 times a year at Golf NSW in Arncliffe and travelling expenses can be claimed.
