The second round of the Australian Men’sSenior Amateur Match Play saw a number of epic battles with three matches going to extra holes. Greg Welsh (Vic) and Dennis Dale (NSW) both won at the 22nd hole whilst Bob Gamsby (WA) won his match at the 20th. Once again conditions at Barwon Heads were cold and windy, making putting extremely difficult. Top seed, Rick Oliver (NSW) won his match to proceed to the quarter finals which will be played tomorrow morning. The final will be played on Friday.
