Father and Son pairing win 2012 NSW Family Bowl

The home course advantage played a huge part as father and son pairing Gary and Cameron Glenday took out the overall title with 45 points. In near perfect conditions we had 50 players tee off this morning to battle it out for this year s 2012 NSW Family Bowl at Cabramatta Golf Club. Alan Lee from Shellharbour and his daughter Keona Lee from Hurstville had a fantastic score of 42 to win the Mixed Division, only one point in front of runners up John Carnell from Oatlands and Janelle Cornwall from Rosnay with 41ocb. David and Robert Anderson from Port Kembla Golf Club finished with a 43 to take out the Men’sprize, three points in front of Bradley Holmes from Pennant Hills Golf Club and Jake O Donnell from Chatswood with 40 points. In the Ladies Division, Barbara Frost and Robyn Lunn won, finishing with 39 points. Father and daughter pairing Michael and Lauren Carter from The Grange won the overall scratch with great one over par score of 35 points. FULL RESULTS AND PHOTOS Pre Event Article The 2012 NSW Family Bowl is teeing off at 7am at Cabramatta Golf Club this Sunday, 19 February. The competition is an 18-Hole fourball stableford in the categories of men’s, women’s and mixed. Prizes are awarded for nett scores in each of the above categories, as well as for the overall winning pair.
