The fifth annual edition of the Mornington Peninsula Golf Classic is set to take place in early October amongst a quartet of Victoria’s most picturesque coastal layouts.
Portsea, Flinders, The Dunes and The National Golf Clubs combine with Golf Mornington Peninsula to provide golfers of all levels a unique opportunity to particpate in this prestigious event showcasing Australia’s number one golfing destination.
The event will run over four days with one days play at each venue. The championship is conducted in grades for both men and women and players will have the opportunity to enjoy further optional benefits such as local Peninsula wine & fine dining options along with the event welcome party at Sorrento Golf Club.
One of the highlights of the classic will undoubtedly be the celebrity dinner which will take place on Tuesday 7 October at Eagle Ridge Golf Course.
Guests include five time British Open champion Peter Thomson, sportsman and commentator Leon Wiegard, golf course architect Ross Perrett and teaching professional David Good.
