Jacin Cook and Sam Earl will line up in tomorrow&aposs GOlf SA Junior Boy&aposs Amateur final after both players won thrilling semi-final matches this afternoon at The Vines of Reynella Golf Club. In wet conditions that persisted throughout the day, Cook booked his place in the final courtesy of a 20th hole win over last week&aposs Golf SA Junior Masters Champions Will Somerfield, while Sam Earl defeated Dylan Thomas 1up. In the mornings quarter final rounds, Somerfield had defeated Jack Williams 2-up with Cook accounting for Lachlan Booth 4&3. On the other side of the Boy&aposs draw, top qualifier Cory Baker was defeated by Earl 5&4 while Thomas beat Ben Snell 5&4. In the Girl&aposs Championship division, Rachel Taylor made short work of Elysia Yap winning 8&6 while Jenny Lee was untroubled in beating Acacia Curtis 6&5. Tomorrow&aposs final between Lee and Taylor should prove a tight affair, with both players having won junior events in recent weeks. In the Girl&aposs B Grade, Jacqueline Walter beat Lee Palmer 8&6 and will meet Samantha Stevens in tomorrow&aposs final, after Stevens accounted for Erin Dohnt 2&1.
