Finalists decided at Queensland Amateur

Courtesy: Golf Queensland TIm Hart will play Brett Drewitt and Jessica Park will play Saki Suzuki in tomorrow&aposs finals of the Queensland Men&aposs and Women&aposs Amateur Championships at Pacific Harbour Golf & Country Club. In today&aposs men&aposs semi-finals, Hart defeated Cameron Smith 2&1, while Drewitt pipped Brett Rankin 1-up. In the women&aposs matches, Saki Suzuki (pictured) ended Ali Orchard&aposs great tournament run 2&1, while Jessica Park caused an minor upset by defeating Amy Smith 3&2. All four finalists will take some great form into tomorrow&aposs matches. Queensland state representative Tim Hart (Indooroopilly), the 2009 Queensland Men&aposs Player of the Year, will carry the local hopes against New South Welshmen Brett Drewitt (Longreef), who was beaten by Cameron Smith in the 8-hole playoff which decided last week&aposs Queensland Men&aposs Stroke Play Championship at Headland. Jessica Park (Brisbane) is the dual Queensland Girl&aposs Amateur Champion, having successfully defended her title at Indooroopilly in January, while Saki Suzuki (Lakelands) was a narrow runner-up at the 2010 Australian Girl&aposs Amateur Championship in Tasmania in March. Tomorrow&aposs 36-hole finals commence at 8:00am (Women) and 8:15am (Men).
