First National Camp for 2011 held in WA

Golf Australia&aposs first National Camp for 2011 was held on Thursday in Perth where WA State Squad Members were involved in intensive practice drills and a physical screening process conducted by Golf Australia&aposs physiotherapist, Ramsey McMaster. Ryan Lumsden, Golf Australia s 3D specialist, will be visiting WA in two weeks to complement the work Ramsey completed yesterday. It is Golf Australia s goal to have up to three camps per year in each state to complement and build each state’s high performance programs as well as 3-4 National Camps each year at the Moonah Links in Victoria. The camps will include 3D Swing Analysis, SAM Putt Lab analysis, physical screenings, intensive practice drills, nutrition advise, course management and media training sessions. The first Golf Australia Camp at Moonah Links is scheduled to take place from February 16th-18th.
