The roller coaster season of Nick Flanagan on the Web.com Tour continued today when he added a second consecutive 66 at the Price Cutter Charity Championship in Springfield in Missouri to share the lead with American Brian Stuard. Flanagan, who has played eight events on the Web.Com Tour this season for a win, six missed cuts and a 66th place finish, eagled the par five 18th for the second day and added five other birdies. Flanagan has slipped to 24th on the money list so needs a good week or two to play his way back to the PGA Tour. A victory this week would guarantee his place on the bigger stage next year but even just a confidence building week would be welcome given his recent efforts. James Nitties is the next best Australian in 11th position.
