Four Aussies safely through at LET Qualifying

Frances Bondad, Dana Lacey, Kate Combes and Bronwyn Mullins-Lane have successfully negotiated the first three rounds of qualifying for the 2008 Ladies European Tour and only 18 more holes stands between them and a Tour card. The final round will be played Friday night (AEST) with the top 30 players receiving full playing rights for the 2008 season and the remaining 20 will have restricted access to Tour events. As it stands, Bondad and Lacey are both at eight-under in a share of 4th position and all but certain to finish inside the top 30. Combes and Mullins-Lane meanwhile are tied for 35th and will need a solid round on Friday to guarantee full LET playing rights for 2008. Follow their progress at www.golfaustralia.org.au.
