Marcus Fraser has ended his European Tour drought with a triumph in the Maybank Championship in Kuala Lumpur today.

The popular Australian edged South Korea's Lee Soo-min and Miguel Tabuena of the Philippines by two strokes to end his six-year wait for another European Tour title.

Lee double-bogeyed the 16th and 18th holes to help Fraser's cause.

Fraser, 37, who last won at the Ballantines Championship in 2010, closed with a three-under 68 for 15-under 269 total at the Royal Selangor Golf Club.

It was his third European Tour win.

Midway leader Nathan Holman of Victoria finished eighth.
