Bendigo’s Ian Frost has taken home the Northern Senior Amateur title for 2014.
Frost,the opening round leader, held on by one shot to a fast finishing Alan Evans of Royal Melbourne who fired the best round of day two a fine 76 in testing conditions.
With inclement weather closing in, Frost remained cool under pressure to take home the trophy largely thanks to his fine opening round.
The nett honours for this years event went to Rossdale’s Brian Gray by two strokes from round one nett winner Adrian Rossi of Commonwealth.

The next event on the calendar for the 2014 Doug Bachli Trophy will be the Victorian Senior Amateur at Rosebud Country Club on Monday 20 October- Wednesday 22 October.
