Frost leads the way at Northern

Bendigo’s Ian Frost has hit the front after round one of the 2014 Northern Senior Amateur.

In pleasant conditions, Frost fired a fine score of 73 to lead the field by one stroke after round one from Ken O’Brien of Rossdale with Wayne Aigner of Brighton & Andrew Hansen of Eastern a further two shots back with both firing a score of 76.

Adrian Rossi from Commonwealth took the nett honours for round one on a countback from local Northern member Russell Righton with a score of 68 nett c/b.

Play continues tomorrow with more fine weather expected for what should be a great finish to this year’s event.
