FSC&TGA Annual Open Tournament

The 75th Anniversary of the FSC&TGA was held at the Mollymook Golf Course from 20-22 March and attracted over 200 entrants each day. The Tournament format for this year was a shotgun start for the two days of single stroke play on the Wednesday and Thursday, with both morning and afternoon sessions each day. While there was initial apprehension that all players would get through in time for the next session, the shotgun format proved to be a huge success and has set the way for years to come. The Mollymook Golf Club, under the guidance of Barry West, Troon Golf proved to be one of the most valuable assets we had and we cannot thank them enough for their attention to detail and assistance to all players. Congratulations are extended to Hayley McNeill, the baby of the field taking out the Snowy Mountains Cup and the Mrs R D Bridges Champion of Champion Shield defeating a strong field. The course itself was presented in fantastic condition and proved to be a great test, not only of golf, but of character with a lot of players finding the course quite challenging. A 75th Anniversary Booklet detailing our history along with reports from each club was given to all players along with a momento ball marker. The FSC&TGA sincerely thank Golf NSW for their continued support and were proud to have Mrs Sue Fabian attend our Tournament as the Golf NSW representative.
