Fun the main course at Pro-Am

Celebrities from television, cooking and sport tested their skills against the pros at the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open at Commonwealth Golf Club on Wednesday in the championship Pro-Am. In the afternoon groups (12.45pm), crowd favourite Christina Kim was joined by comedian Glenn Robbins and Hey-Hey It’s Saturday duo John Blackman and Wilbur Wilde. In the morning groups (7.30am), Ian Curley host of the new TV series Conviction Kitchen and Executive Chef at The European, played alongside former Hawthorn footballers Ben Dixon and Rayden Tallis with Australia s Lindsey Wright. Wright, a keen cook herself, spent Monday evening in the The European kitchen with Curley, learning some tricks of the trade. Continuing the food and wine theme, Adam D Sylva, Head Chef at Coda Restaurant, John Valmorbida, Head of Lavazza Coffee and international wine judge Grant Van Every played with Norwegian Marianne Skarpnord.
