(24 August 2009 – Harrisburg, Pennsylvania)

Mina Harigae, a three-time winner in season 2009, holds a three shot lead with nine holes to play at the Turkey Hill Classic in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Play has been suspended due to bad light and the final round will be completed on Monday. The tournament was always behind schedule after play was abandoned on Friday at 11am after a torrential downpour yielded the course unplayable.

rnHarigae started the final round one shot behind leader Amanda Blumenhurst but started her round with five birdies in the opening six holes to forge to the front. A bogey on the 8th hole saw her reach the turn in 4-under par and 11-under for the tournament. Blumenhurst has slipped back to 7-under after a 1-over front nine. In a tie for second with 9 holes to go are Amanda Mathis and Samantha Richdale, both on 8-under par.

rnRachel Bailey is heading for her best finish of the season. After opening rounds of 72 and 71, Bailey is 1-over after 14 holes to sit in a tie for 20th.
