The Golf Australia Senior Team will play its annual match against the Australian Defence Forces at Gailes Golf Club in Brisbane from 20-21 June. The team members are Bob Angus (NSW), Graham Bowen (WA), Alan Bullas (VIC), David Edwards (NSW), Chris Everett (SA), Pat Giles (VIC), Tony Gover (ACT), Ken Glasson (QLD), Tony Mazzone (SA), Dave Morrison (NSW), Michael Peeck (QLD), and Joe Scopacasa (SA). The team is a mix of newcomers and experienced players, and with the Golf Australia Team having not been beaten in the last four years, the Playing Captain, Morrison, is confident that this team is quite capable of getting the job done for the fifth consecutive year. The event has been played four times previously and all the matches have been played in the very best spirit while also being very keenly fought. The social side has also been a great success and lasting friendships have been made between older golfers and the younger golfers who also serve in the defence of our country. The 12-man Golf Australia Team contests Four-Ball, Foursomes and Singles match play in a Ryder Cup style against the12-man ADF Team.
