Sergio Garcia has wound back the clock to take the second-round clubhouse lead at the PGA Deutsche Bank Championships in Boston. Garcia shot a superb seven-under 64 that took him to 13 under and left him one stroke clear of America&aposs Roberto Castro and Sweden&aposs Henrik Stenson. The Spaniard carded seven birdies and despite double-bogeying the 14th hole, an eagle on the last propelled the 33-year-old to the top of the leaderboard at the second event in the FedExCup play-offs. The former world number two has only been victorious once on the PGA Tour since 2008. Stenson carded an equal-round best of eight-under 63, along with England&aposs Justin Rose, as the Swede picked up five birdies on the front nine and three on the way in to join Castro at 12 under. Castro produced an extraordinary round with an eagle on the second hole, plus seven birdies, but the 28-year-old American ultimately missed out on the chance to lead after a bogey and double bogey on the 13th and 14th holes. PGA Championship title-holder Jason Dufner and American compatriot Matt Kuchar were both tied for fourth on 10 under after both recorded five-under rounds of 66. Rose&aposs 63 was bogey free with four birdies on each half of the course as he finished tied for sixth on 10 under with American duo Jordan Spieth and Harris English. Jason Day (eight under) is the pick of the Australians in equal ninth while compatriot Marc Leishman (five under) is four shots further back in a tie for 35th.
