Gardiner and Lonard best Australians in Pittsburg

Web.com Tour rookie, Robert Streb has won the Mylan Classic in Pittsburg to claim his first victory at this level and assure himself of playing rights on the PGA Tour next year. The 25 year old Streb s victory moved him from 23rd to 4th on the money list and he has no concerns about where he will be playing in 2013. Streb won by four over Cliff Kresge, Matt Weibring and Brad Fritsch. Peter Lonard and Scott Gardiner tied for 15th to lead the Australians, Lonard s tournament his best in his last twelve starts despite a final nine of 41 on Saturday. Lonard improved to 67th on the money list and Gardiner lost a place to now be in 18th position. Cameron Percy, who finished 26th this week, is the leading Australian in 12th position on the money list
