The Central Coast's Jordie Garner has finished in a tie for sixth place at the IMG Academy Junior World Championships at Torrey Pines Golf Club, near San Diego.
18 year-old Garner carded a disappointing final round 75 to go with his opening three rounds of 69,72, and 73 to finish the tournament at one over par.
"it wasn't quite the finish I wanted, the putter wasn't quite as hot today," Garner said. "But I'm still pretty happy to finish in a tie for 6th."
"It was a great week and a great experience," he added.
In the Girls 15-18 years division, Hannah Park carded a final round 74 to finish at 10 over for the tournament and move into a tie for 34th.
In the 6 years and under Boys Division, Camden's Jesse Linden has turned in an impressive effort to finish in 12th place. The youngster carded rounds of 64,72, and 68 to finish at 34 over par.
