Genesis is proud to have been the Official Vehicle of the Emirates Australian Open for the second year running in November. After another thrilling four days of golf at The Australian Golf Club, Sydney, it was great to see the young Aussie, Cameron Davis, lift the Stonehaven Cup.
Genesis was excited to showcase two new models for the very first time during the tournament – the all-new Genesis G70 sports sedan and the new Genesis G80 luxury sedan.
The Genesis G70 was on display on the 15th hole – the Genesis hole – throughout the tournament, and if an Australian Open player had hit a hole in one they would have driven away in this luxurious sports sedan. However, Genesis gave golf fans the chance to win it should no player make an ace – and the field’s loss was to the gain of Alexander Fioretto from Wareemba NSW, who was the lucky winner of the prize draw and takes ownership of a brand new Genesis.
It truly was a memorable Emirates Australian Open, and Genesis is already looking forward to the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open at Kooyonga Golf Club, Adelaide in February 2018.
