Colin George has produced a fantastic first round of 71 to lead the Tocumwal Senior Amateur.
George’s round featured three birdies as he finished on one under par on the presidents course.
2018 Paul Lulofs champion Ian McCleary sits in outright second, three shots behind George after his 74.
Scores in the net section were excellent with Alan Lowdnes the best of the day.
The nine marker from Cobram Barooga finished on 66 to lead by one.
Trailing Lowndes on 67 is Ivan Talan and Ignatius Duivenvoorden.
In the women’s scratch stableford section, Helen Pascoe has continued from her victory at Shepparton earlier in the week to lead by 6 after a first round of 32.
Judy Langford will be looking to repeat her winning performance from 2018 as she sits in outright second on 26.
Corowa’s Roslyn Black is the leader in the women’s stableford after a fantastic score of 37.
