Golf is more accessible in Australia than ever, with hundreds of public and private courses all across the country – of varying lengths and difficulties – open to players of all abilities, all year round.

PGA Professionals around Australia are also there to teach the basics to someone new to the game, or help a lifelong golfer reach their handicap goal.

MyGolf, Australia’s participation program for youngsters between 5 and 12-year-old, is the perfect introduction to the game. A mixture of drills, games and competitions develop every aspect of any young golfer’s game while teaching kids about the value and differences of individual sport.

School Sport Victoria’s and the Australian Sports Commission’s events and competitions for primary and secondary school kids are a great opportunity for students to grow their love for the game of golf with friends and kids of a similar age.

SwingFit and Get On Course are the perfect way for women to combine fitness and to get a taste for the game, feeding into the PlayGolf Pathway as they look to transition or become a member of one of Victoria’s great golf clubs.

And for those looking for a career in golf, either on or off the course, Golf Victoria’s elite pathways provide the perfect pathway for juniors to develop their skills and to best prepare them for life as a touring professional or in a role on any of the world’s top circuits.

A combined effort between Golf Victoria, Golf Australia and the PGA is providing more opportunities in the inclusion space than ever.

The MyGolf All Abilities program is tailored to suit kids that do not feel supported in mainstream sporting programs.

The PGA All Abilities Coaches Accreditation has been developed to give PGA Professionals and their facilities additional training & resources in providing support for those golfers with physical, sensory or intellectual disability.

State and National Championships are held throughout the country every year, ensuring all golfers are afforded the opportunity to compete at an elite level.
