Get into Swing Fit

Want to be involved in an exciting, world-first women’s only golf participation program?

Swing Fit, a national program to encourage female participation in golf, is here – and there’s never been anything quite like it.

The program is fast, friendly, and fun. Most sessions last around 75 minutes, and cost just $20 a visit. You’re sure to have plenty of laughs and make some new friends.

Don’t think that Swing Fit is just a traditional golf lesson or clinic –it’s not. Swing Fit is all about game-based learning. One minute you’ll be hitting golf balls, then the next, you’ll be doing simple yoga and pilates-style exercises. Think social and fun!

Swing Fit is suitable for beginners wanting to learn the basics of the game in a relaxed and welcoming environment, and current golfers who wish to get ‘fit for golf’. Swing Fit is designed for women of all ages and abilities, so why don’t you give it a try?

“Swing Fit was affordable, social and fun. It was great to play with other ladies at my level and we've played together since. The coach taught us golf basics and made us laugh.  Highly recommended.” Michele – Swing Fit participant.

National Women's Coaching Clinics

Australian Ladies Professional Golf (the ALPG), in conjunction with Bing Lee and Delonghi, host a series of National Coaching Clinics aimed at providing an opportunity for women golfers, of all levels in Australia, to experience the expertise of ALPG Professional coaches. The ALPG National Clinics provide opportunities for local women golfers to engage with leading local ALPG coaches along with two of ALPG’s elite Rachel Hetherington and Shani Waugh.

The day runs from 7.45am – 4.30pm and includes over 5 hours of tuition, with course play and direction in on course situational play. Instructional sessions will be held on the driving range, putting green and short game areas for all participants. Throughout the day you will spend time with both Rachel and Shani, listening to some great stories over lunch, having fun with them at skills sessions and enjoying these two greats of Australian women’s golf on course.

The clinics are suited to female golfers of all skill levels. Each attendee will be matched with players of similar ability to make the experience both comfortable and challenging.
