Get into the swing this spring and PlayGolf

There's no better time to get out on the golf course than Spring.

If you're an adult, looking at learning golf over the coming months, be sure to check out our four step beginner pathway which will guide you through learning the basics such as a golf swing, chipping and putting then take you all the way to on-course play.

If you're a beginner or simply want to touch up your skills, there are a range of PlayGolf clinics offered across the state. PlayGolf clinics give people of all ages the opportunity to learn golf in a cost effective and relaxed group environment. People can enrol in female only, male only or mixed group clinics at various golf venues across Victoria, all year round.

Here is a list of venues hosting upcoming clinics:

  • Altona Lakes Golf Club
  • Ballan Golf Club
  • Box Hill Golf Club
  • Brighton Golf Club
  • Curlewis Golf Club
  • Freeway Golf
  • Glen Waverley Golf Club
  • Marysville Golf Club

We haven't forgotten about the juniors either! If you've got a budding golfer on your hands, MyGolf is a must. This national junior introduction program steps juniors through all of the basics over a ten week course, boosting their golf skills to competition level. And with school holidays just around the corner, we're hosting over a dozen junior tournaments. To find out more and enter your junior golfer, visit the junior events calendar.

If you're not quite sold yet, why not take a look at golfmonth.com.au. There is an abundance of activities on offer at golf clubs all around the country during the month of October so GOLF MONTH is the perfect opportunity to find an activity perfect for you.

Happy golfing!
