Get the golf bug this October

By Sunday night, both the NRL and the AFL will have new premiers, and another winter of footy will have drawn to a close.

Some may mourn the end of the season, and some may celebrate, but spring is a great time of year with longer days, sunshine, and of course, golf to the fore.

That’s because October is Golf Month.

From Sunday, clubs and facilities around Australia will throw open their doors to the public so they can experience what Golf has to offer.

You can join in by heading to a driving range, playing a quick nine holes after work, giving Swing Fit a go or by trying innovative formats of the game like footgolf, speed golf or even disc golf.

Whether you’re new to the game, returning from a break or playing occasionally, there’s something for everyone in Golf Month.

Some of the fantastic Golf Month activities around New South Wales include the School Holiday Program at Duntryleague Golf Club, a ‘Fundraising Cross-Country Golf Day at Numurkah Golf Club and the ‘Black Friday Big Hole Golf’ at Charlestown Golf Club. Check out what’s on near you by visiting the Golf month website.

Already passionate about the game? Then you can be a part of this year’s Golf Month celebrations too.

By sharing the golf bug, you could win one of four ultimate adventures to Barnbougle, Cape Wickham and Ocean Dunes.
