Getting to the MFS Australian Open

Fans planning to attend this week&aposs MFS Australian Open at Royal Sydney are spoiled for choice when it comes to getting to the course. As well as the fact that there is car parking available in the surrounds of the course for those who choose to drive to Royal Sydney, fans can also get there by bus, train, taxi and even ferry. Those favouring public transport can get there by bus on the 323, 325 or 326 routes, or by train from Circular Quay on the Eastern Suburbs line, getting off at Edgecliff Station – which is approximately a 20-minute walk or a five-minute taxi ride to the course. For either bus or train timetable information or further directions fans should contact the Transport Info Line on 131 500 or visit the Sydney Buses website, www.sydneybuses.info or the Sydney Rail website www.cityrail.info. Rose Bay Wharf is directly across the road from Royal Sydney and ferries travel out there regularly. Of course taxis can also be hired for transport to the course, with various companies operating in the area. Taxis Combined can be contacted on 133 300 or book online at www.taxiscombined.com.au. A taxi rank will be located on New South Head road near the corner of Kent Road and will be in operation from 3pm to 8pm on Thursday and Friday and from 3pm to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets to the tournament can then be purchased at any one of four entry gates which are located on Kent Road, end of Kent Road, Norwich Road and O&aposSullivan Road.
