The Girls Golf Getaway is designed to encourage and promote girls participation around the state, with girls of all abilities encouraged to play. The weekend is an annual ‘girls only’ team based competition administered by Golf Victoria, where teams will play off for the Kay Mahlook Shield. Teams will comprise of three girls who will compete over two rounds of par, with the best two of three scores per round counting to the team’s aggregate score.
The event is open to any female Victorian golfer under the age of 18. Each team must comprise of three players from the same club or district with multiple teams eligible to enter. Golf Victoria will fully subsidise accommodation and catering costs for all team members and one manager. Additional accommodation and catering is available for parents/guardians at their own cost.

Accommodation
Golf Victoria will organise and cover the cost of accommodation for the Saturday night for team members and team managers only.
Catering
Lunch and dinner for Saturday, and breakfast and lunch for Sunday will be organised at the host club and shall be free of charge for team members and the team managers only.
