Girls South East Golf Club Launch

The first day of the GolfSE Girls Golf Club Story courtesy Dwayne Baker – President Golf South East The Golf South East Girls Golf Club was launched at Naracoorte on Monday the 30th of September by GolfSA development coach Allan Telford and special guest coach PGA professional Melanie Bryden. GolfSE officials were ecstatic with the response from the girls throughout the region with twenty one enjoying the inaugural try golf day and plenty of interest from others around the Limestone Coast. The experience of Telford in developing junior golf and the excitement created by the highly credentialed Bryden was ideal to launch this new programme. Bryden with world class experience after a stellar amateur career proved she is also a top class coach and had the girls excited from the minute she introduced herself. Following on from this day Golf South East will run another try golf for girls at Naracoorte on Tuesday 8th October starting at 9.30am with all the equipment provided and lunch for only $5. This day will see Naracoorte professional Michael Justin continue the great kick-start Telford and Bryden gave to the Golf South Easts newest iniative. All girls interested in giving golf a go are encouraged to get to Naracoorte for the next day in the Girls Golf Clubs development.
