Goggin still in touch

Matthew Goggin continued his good form with a five-under-par 67 in the Bob Hope Classic in California. Following up his brilliant ten-under-par 62 in the third round, Goggin was solid all round to maintain a share of 16th spot, ten shots off leader Steve Stricker who is on a remarkable 33 under the card. John Senden had an excellent round of 64, nailing eight birdies to move on from a tie for 43rd at the start of the day to equal 18th. Peter Lonard was also steady, finishing the round on three under the card to sit at minus 19, while Steve Elkington, James Nitties, Jarrod Lyle, Greg Chalmers and Nathan Green missed the cut.
