Goggin’s good form continues

Tasmanian PGA Touring Professional Mathew Goggin s good form has continued at the Open. Goggin carded nineteen birdies, eight bogeys and one double bogey throughout the 72-hole championship conducted at CordeValle Golf Club in San Martin, California. The 38-year-old finished tied for twenty first place after shooting rounds of 69, 70, 69 and 67, a nine-under-par total of 275. Sweden s Jonas Blixt took out the championship by one stroke with a sixteen-under-par total of 268. Blixt carded rounds of 66, 68, 66 and 68. Of the Australians contesting the event Queensland s Steven Bowditch was the best placed finishing in tied for sixteenth place at ten-under-par.
