Golf Australia’s Peter Stone wins best internet feature story

The Australian Golf Writers Association (AGWA) announced the winners of this year s Australian Golf Media Awards at a function in Sydney held in conjunction with the Emirates Australian Open at The Lakes Golf Club. The night was well supported by many of the major people in the Australian golf industry including Adam Scott who wore the Augusta National Golf Club green jacket for all to see. Golf.org.au&aposs veteran golf writer Peter Stone picked up the first award for Golf Australia&aposs digital network, winning the Best Feature Story – Electronic Media (Internet) category with his story on Michelle Wie which made international headlines earlier in the year. Read Peter&aposs entry here Stone was part of Golf.org.au&aposs online team for the Emirates Australian Open which included Martin Blake, John Huggan and Mike Clayton. Both Huggan and Clayton also won awards for their work at Golf Australia Magazine.
