Following the devastating floods which have left a trail of destruction in Queensland, the Golf Industry will be rallying around to support those affected via the Golf Industry Flood Disaster Relief Fund. The fund will be coordinated by Golf Australia and has been set up in conjunction with and through the support of a range of industry bodies including Golf Queensland, the PGA of Australia, Australian Ladies Professional Golf (ALPG), Australian Golf Course Supers Association, Golf Management Australia, Australian Sporting Goods Association and the Society of Australian Golf Course Architects. Donations to the Golf Industry Flood Disaster Relief Fund will be distributed in two important areas based on instructions: – The Premier&aposs Flood Relief Appeal to assist affected families and communities – Golf Club Fund Relief Appeal to assist clubs to rebuild and repair the damage caused by the floods.
