Golf Month tickled pink for charity

Golf Month might be drawing to a close, but it’s going out in style!

Gove Country Golf Club (Nhulunbuy, NT) held its annual Ladies Pink Jacket Day on Sunday 29 October.

55 women attended a day full of laughs, celebrating women and raising money for a great cause.

The event raised the fantastic sum of $3,050, which will go to a local family facing the challenges of dealing with a brain tumour diagnosis.

The golf part of the day saw teams of four women competing, many of whom were first-time golfers – a welcome boost to the club.

Big congratulations should go to Club President Donna-Marie Grieve, who facilitated the Ladies Pink Jacket Day. It’s becoming a fantastic part of the local community calendar.
