Golf NSW advisory committee appointed

Golf NSW is pleased to announce the appointment of 16 candidates from across metropolitan and regional NSW to the Golf NSW Advisory Committee for 2017.

The committee will meet at least three times a year and will assist Golf NSW to meet its' strategic goals as well as  provide input on behalf of affiliated clubs and districts regarding the promotion, marketing, & growth of the game across the State.

Stuart Fraser, Chief Executive Officer of Golf NSW, was thrilled to welcome the newly appointed committee members onboard.

"This is a talented and diverse group who are truly representative of our affiliated clubs and districts,"

"We are looking forward to working with them to help grow the sport across the entire State." Mr Fraser said.

One of the first tasks for the Committee will be to assist the Board of Golf NSW with the formulation of the Golf NSW Strategic Plan 2018 – 2021.

The committee will remain in place until the 2017 Golf NSW Annual General Meeting in mid to late November.

Elsie Pathmanathan (Moore Park),
Julie Preskett (Penrith),
Tegan Purcell (Avondale),
Karen Quinn (Royal Sydney)

Metro Men:
Brian Ollerton (Concord),
Gary Levien (NSW),
Barnaby Sumner (Oatlands),

Country Women:
Dawn Manning (Royal Canberra),
Sue Wilson (Newcastle),
Lyn Cooper (Belmont),
(One position to be advised)

Country Men:
Stephen Childe (Wagga Wagga),
Peter Wildblood (Taree),
Peter Ipkendanz (Dubbo),
Alan Green (Walcha)
