Golf NSW launches new Womens NSW Open website

Golf NSW has partnered with Golf Australia to launch the official Bing Lee Fujitsu General Women’s NSW Open website at www.womensnswopen.com The site allows information on the Women’s NSW Open to be fully integrated with others on the GA digital network and includes live scoring, history, honour roll, news, photos and videos. As the official website partner, Golf Australia s Digital Director John Sutherland said, GA is pleased to add another site to its Digital Network family, which will increase the awareness of the Bing Lee Fujitsu General Women’s NSW Open to the golf loving network audience. The administrative and commercial benefits of a shared platform approach are also significant.” Golf NSW CEO Stuart Fraser said, The new website provides a cohesive brand in the look and feel of both the Men’sand Women’s NSW Open sites. By sharing content across the digital network we gain more coverage for our sponsors who support these events, adding value to our commercial partnerships. The Women&aposs NSW Open has become a prestigious event and an integral part of the ALPG summer tournament schedule since its inception in December 2006. Another major advantage is that the ALPG is also part of the digital network which makes administering the site and content sharing between ALPG, Golf Australia and those on the digital network much easier, allowing us to take full advantage of what the network can offer. Others on the digital network include GolfNT, GolfSA, GolfTasmania, and the Australian Golf Industry Council. The 2014 Bing Lee Fujitsu General Women’s NSW Open will be played form 24 to 26 January at the Oatlands Golf Club, and once again will include a high calibre field headed by England s Laura Davies. Spectator entry to the event is free. www.womensnswopen.com #womensnswopen @GolfNSW | @ilikebinglee | @ALPGTour | @OatlandsGC
