Golf NSW Seeking Events Coordinator

An exciting opportunity exists for an exceptional Golf Administrator to come on board at Golf NSW as an Events Coordinator and manage all Golf NSW participation events. These include but are not limited to the Women’s Summer Foursomes (and Men&aposs Senior Foursomes), Northern Weekend Tournament (Mixed), Southern Weekend Tournament (Mixed), Family Bowl (Men and Women), Women’s Medal Competition, Women’s Summer Meeting, Women’s Autumn Meeting, Women’s Pewter Plate, Women&aposs Weekend Tournament (The Vintage), Women&aposs Country Meeting, Women&aposs Bronze Medallion, Women&aposs Coronation Medal, Women&aposs Mountain Meeting. Although not essential, a knowledge of the structure of the above events would be advantageous. Working as part of the Golf Department, you will organize these events from start to finish, including venue liaison, developing the entry form, marketing the event, updating the website, coordination of volunteers, draws, player information, attendance, and all post-event requirements. The role requires someone who is self-motivated, exceptionally well organized and has a positive can-do attitude. You must be able to manage multiple events at all times. In-house programs such as Online Tournament Software, a CRM Database and website administration will all be used as part of this role. You must be competent with all elements of Microsoft Office. The role works extremely closely with the Golf NSW Women’s Match Committee (the majority of the above events being women’s).
