Golf SA advises that a number of Board positions will be open for election at the 2014 Annual General Meeting scheduled to be held on Sunday 19th October. At least one of the positions ia required to be filled by a female candidate under Clause 6.1 (a).
Three positions will become vacant as follows:
> Neil Brown: Neil’s current term of three years expires at the 2014 AGM. He has indicated that he will not be seeking re-election. Neil is currently Chair of Match Committee.
> Jenny Butcher: Jenny has indicated that she intends to resign after two years of her current three year term at the 2014 AGM. Jenny is currently Chair of Golf & Junior Development Committee.
> Tony Timmins: Constitutionally, Tony is required to stand for election at the 2014 AGM under Clause 6.5 (d). Tony has indicated that he will be seeking re-election. He is currently Chair of Finance, Audit & Risk Management Committee.
