Kooyonga and Tea Tree Gully sit at the top of the Simpson Cup table as the only undefeated teams after two rounds, with all other clubs, bar Royal Adelaide and Highercombe now having recorded one win.

Starting off the 1st tee, in one of the early matches at Tea Tree Gully, the home side continued its winning form by defeating Royal Adelaide 4.5 – 2.5.

The contest was tight early with the seventh match halved between Zak Amundson and Sam Medlin.

After Tea Tree Gully players Jacin Cook and Zane Thomson won their matches at number five and four respectively and then Royal Adelaide won matches six and three, with victories to William Arnold and Matt Lawson the contest was again squared at 2.5 each.

Tea Tree Gullies top order proved too solid however, with Sam Burton accounting for Patric Kroschel 3&2 and former two time SA Amateur Champion Chris Austin defeating Billy Cawthorne 4&3 to secure his sides second victory of the season.

In the other early match, The Vines defeated Highercombe 5-2 after The Vines held a 4 – 0 lead with wins to Luke Noble, Mark Potter, Matthew Bell and Brendan Fisher.
