Golf Tasmania wishes to advise that its Annual General Meeting will be conducted on the 23 October 2016, at the Launceston Golf Club commencing at 11.00am.
The Board of Golf Tasmania encourages all members to participate in this important meeting through their appointed delegate or delegates. The proposed Special Resolutions which are detailed in the attached notice are an important step forward for improving the governance of Golf Tasmania. Stephen Pitt (Golf Australia CEO) will also again be presenting on One Golf.
All are welcome to attend the AGM, however only individuals that have been officially nominated as a delegate by their club in writing prior to the commencement of the meeting are eligible to vote.
Changes to approved delegates can be made up to the day and time of commencement of the Annual General Meeting, but must be in writing on club letterhead and signed by a club official. If your club has not previously advised Golf Tasmania of its delegates or has changed delegates please complete the attached form and return it to Golf Tasmania by14th October 2016.
