Golf Tasmania Calls for Coaches

Expressions of interest are sought for the position of State Coach for the men’s, women’s, boys&apos and girls&apos teams to compete at the 2014 Australian Interstate Teams Matches. The 2014 boys&apos and girls&apos events will be conducted from April 13 15 at the Yering Meadows Golf Club and Heritage Golf & Country Club, Victoria. The 2014 men’s and women’s events will be conducted from April 29 May 2 at the Federal and Gungahlin Lakes Golf Clubs, Australian Capital Territory. Applicants should submit their applications in writing addressing each of the selection criteria below. Selection criteria required for successful application are: PGA Professional AAA Sound organisational skills Contemporary knowledge of coaching methodology at an elite level Ability to relate to younger age groups and to work in a team environment Enthusiasm to be involved with junior elite golfers Availability and time to fulfil the role as required Personal and group organisational skills Ability to document and oversee individual player development programs Ability to co-ordinate programs to fit to the overall state HP structure Applicants must hold a current drivers license and may be subject to a police check.
