Expressions of interest are sought for the position of State Coach for the men’s, women’s, boys' and girls' teams to compete at the 2016 Australian Interstate Teams Matches.
The 2016 boys' and girls' events will be conducted from April 12–20 at the Devonport and Ulverstone Golf Clubs, Tasmania.
The 2016 men’s and women’s events will be conducted from May 7–13 at the Royal Queensland and Brisbane Golf Clubs, Queensland.
Applicants should submit their applications in writing addressing each of the selection criteria below.
Selection criteria required for successful application are:
• Certified PGA Professional –Advanced in Coaching
• Sound organisational skills
• Contemporary knowledge of coaching methodology at an elite level
• Ability to relate to younger age groups and to work in a team environment
• Enthusiasm to be involved with junior elite golfers
• Availability and time to fulfil the role as required
• Personal and group organisational skills
• Ability to document and oversee individual player development programs
• Ability to co-ordinate programs to fit to the overall state HP structure
Applicants must hold a current drivers license and may be subject to a police check.
