Golf Victoria appoints staff to new positions

Golf Victoria is pleased to announce the appointments of John Anderson to Business Services Manager, Ashley Marshall to High Performance Manager and Doug O’Keeffe to Junior Events Coordinator.

With the departure of Brett Vale, Golf Victoria has undergone a minor restructure with three existing staff members moving into new roles.  Anderson moves into the newly created Business Services Manager position with the role including management of the Victorian Golf Foundation and internal and external contracts with Golf Victoria. Anderson has spent three and a half years with Golf Victoria previously as High Performance Manager.

Marshall steps into the High Performance Manager’s role after spending nine years heading up the Stuart Appleby Junior Golf Program. Marshall, a former tour professional will bring a wealth of experience to the role which works closely alongside the Victorian Institute of Sport and all development squads.

O’Keeffe moves from the Events department to the Junior department as Junior Events Coordinator. The role will be responsible for administration and operations of all Golf Victoria junior tournaments and Stuart Appleby Junior Golf.

Anderson and Marshall have begun their duties whilst O’Keeffe commences today in his new role. A replacement for O’Keeffe will be appointed over the coming weeks.
