The inaugaral GolfSE v Wimmera Junior Challenge was held at the Horsham Golf Club on the 21 – 22nd of June. This new event on the GolfSE calendar gives the members of the GolfSE Junior Academy the opportunity to test themselves against quality opposition from across the border. The Horsham Golf Club was in spectacular condition living up to it’s reputation of one of the best courses in Victoria and showing why it is ranked highly in Australia’s best courses lists. With both teams being evenly matched on hcps the results were expected to be close and the cold and at times wet conditions provided a challenge to be on their game.
