Three nail-biting finals completed the 2015 Women's Summer Foursomes at Cronulla Golf Club.
Concord's Antonia Gonzalez and The Australian's Kirsten Convoy pulled through to claim their win on the 18th against Olivia Wilson (NSW GC) and Leanne Munt (Tura Beach GC). It was a tough battle for the young pair when defending champs Wilson and Munt crawled back from being 4 down after 12 holes.
Local's Jackie Parton and Suzanne Wilson prooved be tough to beat on home turf, winning their finals 3/2 against Ann McClintock (Kogarah GC) and Robyn Winter (Horizons GC).
After a long battle in division three, Susan Serjeantson (Federal GC) and Kerry Tracy (Cronulla GC) defeated Jacqueline Parsons (North Ryde GC) and Lana Debnam (Wakehurst GC) 2/1.

This mornings semi-final matches are now completed with some close finishes.
Division 1
Antonia Gonzalez (Concord GC) and Kirsten Convoy (The Australian GC) defeated Tracey Wood and Lyn Hall (Lakeside CC) 4/3. Olivia Wilson (New South Wales GC) and Leanne Munt (Tura Beach GC) came back from 2 down to defeat Rhonda Magner and Margaret Bain-Smith (Concord GC) on the 18th.
Division 1 Final – A Gonzalez and K Convoy VS O Wilson and L Munt.
Division 2
Ann McClintock (Kogarah GC) and Robyn Winter (Horizons GC) won 3/1 against Joanne Adams and Julie Anderson (The Grange GC). Locals Jackie Parton and Suzanne Wilson (Cronulla GC) defeated Rhonda Thompson (Belmont GC) and Jennifer Richards (Wyong GC) 4/3.
Division 2 Final – A McClintock and R Winter VS J Parton and S Wilson.
Division 3
Jacqueline Parsons (North Ryde GC) and Lana Debnam (Wakehurst GC) beat Leonie Zeidler and Carol (The Grange GC) on the 21st hole. Winning on the 22nd hole for the second match was Susan Serjeantson (Federal GC) and Kerry Tracy (Cronulla GC) deafting Jeanette Walters and Marilyn Williams (Belmont GC).

The qualifying round of the 2015 Women's Summer Foursomes is now completed with some close finishes.
Cronulla Golf Club will again host the Women’s Summer Foursomes tomorrow with 12 pairs contesting for the 2015 title. The matchplay semi-finals see 12 pairs (three divisions) teeing off at 8.00am.
Division One
Young guns Antonia Gonzalez (Concord) and Kirsten Convoy (The Australian) lead Division 1 with an 82 off the stick to win the daily scratch and first place in the matchplay draw for the semi-finals tomorrow morning. Concord’s Rhonda Magner (8) Margaret Bain-Smith (9) had a nett score of 74 ½ to win the daily nett. Nett Runners up were Patricia Kenney (Avondale, 14) and Lesley Dickinson (Pymble, 7) with a nett score of 75 ½ and winning on a countback.

Over 140 Women will travel to Cronulla Golf Club on Monday to contest the 2015 Women's Summer Foursomes, being played on Monday 12 – Tuesday 13 January 2015.
DRAW AND PLAYER INFORMATION
The Women’s Summer Foursomes is open to female amateurs whose individual GA handicap does not exceed 32 at the date of entry.
The format is stroke play over one round of 18-holes Foursomes, with the leading four pairs (scratch) in each division to qualify for the match play, scheduled for the following day. Pairs may choose which player is playing from their first tee in all rounds.
In 2014 the event was played in three divisions. Players are allocated to a division based upon their handicaps at the close of entries.

Over 60 players head to Belmont Golf Club tomorrow for the 2015 Men's NSW Senior Foursomes Medal. The Championship is a 18-holes Foursomes Stroke event.
