Goss posts first college victory for Tennessee

General Hackler Championship Leaderboard

National Squad member Oliver Goss claimed the first victory of his collegiate career at TPC of Myrtle Beach in South Carolina with medallist honours at the General Hackler Championship.

Perth born Goss, who represents the University of Tennessee, finished tied with Kent State's Taylor Pendrith, each finishing at 1-under par 215. There was no play-off.

It is Goss and Pendrith's first wins of the season.

Goss has continued his form which saw him win the WA Open on the PGA Tour Australasia last October and was paired with Adam Scott and Graeme McDowell in the opening rounds of the Talisker Australian Masters at Kingston Heath.
