Got a spare set lying around?

Golf NSW in conjunction with the NSW State Government is working at re-establishing Wilcannia Golf Club in far-west NSW.

The nine-hole sand green course has been hacked back out of the mallee scrub and work will begin shortly on a small synthetic surface practice facility where a visiting professional will be able to give lessons and conduct clinics for local children.

Sadly, however, there is little in the way of equipment available at Wilcannia for those willing to learn our great game. As such, Golf NSW is asking for donations of old but still usable sets that people may have lying around.

If you wish to make a donation the clubs below are designated drop off points.

  • Long Reef Golf Club – Pro shop
  • Wollongong Golf Club – Pro shop
  • Cronulla Golf Club – Clubhouse
  • Cumberland Country Club – Clubhouse

If you have a set and cannot make it to one of these locations drop us a line here on Facebook via Messenger or contact Nick Baglin directly at nicholas.baglin@golfnsw.org
