The West Australian is in Thursday morning’s feature group at the year’s fourth major championship alongside Korean powerhouse duo JY Ko and Jeongeun Lee6.
Without touching a club Green’s world ranking has improved four places to Number 25 in the world and her quest to crack the top 10 continues from 8:36am local time (4:36pm AEST) on Thursday.
Fellow West Australian and Green’s former state teammate Minjee Lee is on a world rankings pursuit of her own, the World No.4 within striking distance of the top spot this week in Evian.
Lee tees off at 12:16pm (8:16pm AEST) on Thursday, alongside American World No.3 Lexi Thompson and World No.1 Sung Hyun Park.
Victoria’s Su Oh is the next Australian on course at 1:44pm (9:44pm AEST) with South Korea’s Mi Jung Hur and recent British Amateur champion Emily Toy of England.
Two groups further back is World No.97 Katherine Kirk at 2:06pm (10:06pm AEST) with American duo Ally McDonald and Emma Talley.
Sarah Kemp is the last of the five Australians to tee off on Thursday, the Sydneysider off at 2:17pm (10:17pm AEST) with Mi Hyang Lee and Swede Madelene Sagstrom.
