The South Australian Senior Amateur Championships have been won by Greg Rhodes from Coomealla Golf Club and Jacquie Morgan from Monash.
Played at the Victor Harbor Golf Club in SA's Southern District from 5 – 7 September, Rhodes finished the 54 hole tournament 7-over the card with rounds of 76, 75, 72, ahead of David Gleeson (Dubbo) who finished runner up on countback at +17 ahead of Steve Toyne (Nudgee). Leading South Australian was John Davey who finished tied fifth.

In the Women’s Championship Jacquie Morgan from Monash was the runner away winner finishing 21-over with rounds of 82, 78, 80. South Australian Juliet Hugo from Royal Adelaide finished runner up seven strokes further back.
