Lydia Hall of Wales survived a final-hole bogey to claim her maiden Ladies European Tour victory at the inaugural ISPS Handa Ladies British Masters, while Australian Rebecca Artis finished in a tie for third. An even-par 72 saw Hall finish at seven under overall at Buckinghamshire Golf Club in England on Saturday, enough for a one-shot victory ahead of Beth Allen. Allen led at nine-under par until a triple bogey at the 17th ruined her chances, the American eventually signing for a one-over 73 in her final round. Overnight leader Ashleigh Simon of South Africa was also in contention until coming undone at the 17th, where a double bogey cost her dearly. A four-over final round saw her share third place at five under with Artis, Trish Johnson, Mikaela Parmlid, Stacy Lee Bregman and Henrietta Zuel. Norwegian Caroline Martens and Dane Lisa Holm Sorensen were a shot further back to share ninth place. Australian duo Frances Bondad and Stacey Keating both finished in a tie for 18th place at one under.
